festvox-te-nsk software package provides Telugu (te) male speaker for festival, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install festvox-te-nsk
festvox-te-nsk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the festvox-te-nsk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep festvox-te-nsk *
You will get with festvox-te-nsk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
